Choose a person OR an event that was influential in WW2
Outline details of:
- His/her early life OR What led up to the event
- Career OR Who took part in the event
- What did they do? / How they were influential? OR What happened? How was it influential?
- What impact did they have? / What has changed or happened because of their influence? OR What impact did the event have on the war? What changed as a result of the event?
The project is to be presented using one of these:
- one sheet of chart paper
- PowerPoint or Prezi Presentation (Prezi is a free online equivalent of PowerPoint)
- A folder/booklet
Ideas
- Create a factfile about the person OR the event.
- Interview someone who has a greater understanding of your chosen person/topic and use this information to form your project.
- Present a question and answer section outlining questions you could have asked this person at the time they were alive and how they may have answered. Include a timeline of events.
- Questions you might ask a person involved in the event if they were alive today. What do they remember?
- A diary entry they may have written.
- A day in the life of….
- Sample newspaper headlines / articles from the time.
- Illustrate a scene from the event.
